What is BirdsBeep and why should I use it?

BirdsBeep is a mobile chatting application that provides a superb platform for users to stay in touch with their friends and have conversations. But this isn't all, there is so much more in store for the users like HD audio and video call feature, parent- junior mode (in which a parent user can have an eye on the activities done by the child in the application), managing their own photo album, managing their privacy throughout the application, sending broadcast messages, getting involved in group chats amongst friends and many more.

Do I have to pay in order to use BirdsBeep?

BirdsBeep does not charge anything for its users. Messaging, calling and other salient features are totally free in BirdsBeep. * When you use BirdsBeep on you mobile network then you may be charged by your service provider.

Does BirdsBeep work on my phone?

BirdsBeep works on most Android and iOS devices and provides its seamless services also for Windows Desktop.

How do I initiate with BirdsBeep?

In order to get started with BirdsBeep, you just have to install it from the app stores of respective platforms. As you have installed the application, now you are only few steps away from availing it. You can now register with your phone number and after undergoing an authentic verification process, you will now be able to use the application and its seamless services.

Does BirdsBeep provide international calls facility?

Yes, BirdsBeep does provide this facility. It charges nothing to make a call to your friends whether they are in the same country as you or in a completely different one; you can make a call and have a text chat as much as you want. Just make sure that your friends are on BirdsBeep.

How do I find my friends?

Your phone book contacts which are already BirdsBeep users or those who later on join BirdsBeep automatically get listed in your BirdsBeep contacts list. BirdsBeep gives you the facility of inviting your friends through email, sms and social media networks.

Do I get notified when the recipient reads my message?

Yes, you do. BirdsBeep provides you with the feature which works in a way that whenever the message gets sent by you, a single tick comes in front of that message. When that message gets delivered to the user then double ticks get displayed for that message and finally when the recipient reads that message then those double ticks become green in color which act as a read receipt for the sender notifying him that the message has been read by the recipient.

Apart from this, we also provide a unique feature of blocking the read receipt in which you can select some specific users when you do not want them to know that you have read the messages which are sent from them to you.

You can just register with your mobile number in your new Android mobile device and the verification process will be the same. Once you have logged in with your number in your new mobile device, BirdsBeep gives you the option of logging out of all the other devices on which you have logged in with the same number in the settings section.

There can be certain reasons for this like the signals from the network provider being too weak or there is sudden fall in the network, DND service activated for your number or the service from which the verification code gets send is currently not working for which you can always contact to our support team and the needful actions will be taken in order to rectify it.

In order to take a backup or archive your chats you can email them to your email address by going to the user chat screen and using the "Email" option provided in the menu at the top right corner of the screen. This way you can have a back up of your chats and can have a track of the same even after you have uninstalled the application.

Yes , BirdsBeep gives the provision of adding the passwords to your single as well as group chats. In order to do this, first you will have to go to the Settings panel in which you will find the "Manage Chat Password" option from there , you can turn the password option and can set the password for chat. Now the second step will be for the user or the group for which you have to set the password you will go to that particular user's or group's detail screen and switch the password option ON. After doing this every time when you want to access that particular user or group for chatting, you will have to enter the password which you had set in the "Manage Chat Password" section.

There can be numerous reasons for this. One of them can be your phone might be running out of space in that case , you need to free some space in your phone so that you can download the application with ease. The second reason maybe being that your device is not compatible with BirdsBeep app, in the wake of the issue , you are not getting any option to download the application.

There can be multiple reasons for this. First, you may not have switched the option ON for receiving notifications particularly for the BirdsBeep app from the settings of your phone. Secondly, there might be some issue with the server, which sends the notification, for that you can contact us to our support team and they will take care of it and will rectify the issue.

It may be the case of mobile number of those contacts are not saved in proper formats.

Chat history gets saved automatically in the application. The chats done by you in past remains in the Recent chats section unchanged. Apart from this, there is also an option on user chat screen at the upper right corner in the menu for emailing the chat to the concerned person. This way you can have a history of the chats done by you.

BirdsBeep provides a separate option at the bottom panel naming "Groups" through which you can create groups and can add multiple users in it by using the available options. There is also an alternative way of creating a group through the user chat screen. At the top right corner of the user chat screen given is a menu bar featuring an option called "Add People" through which you can create groups and can add multiple users in it.

Public groups are those which can be searched readily by users and any user can join that group and can become its member. Using a public group is very easy and user friendly .While creating a group, you can select the provided "Public" option and add members in it , this way you can create a public group with ease and can have a secured chat in it. The admin of the group ( the person who created the group) is the incharge of the group and has the authority of changing the group name , images , adding new members and removing old ones as well. Options of giving rating and comments to the group are also an integral part of these public groups which can be found on the group details screen.

Changing of the name , profile picture and status all three of these can be done from one screen that is the "Profile" screen. In order to change the status when you tap on the current status of your profile from the "Profile" screen then you get navigated to the "Profile Status" screen from where you can select the available statuses from the list and can also create a new one.

On the recent chats screen when you long press on any of the chats performed by you, then you get an option of "Delete Conversation" through which you can delete that particular conversation for good.

Yes you can. After sending a message when you long press on it, you get an option of "Edit" and as you tap on it , that message gets displayed on the text box at the bottom from where you can edit that message accordingly.

Just alongside the text box at the bottom of the user chat screen , there is the option of recording the voice which can be done by long pressing on it and recording the voice message that you want to send. Now, as soon as you release the long press then it asks you the question that do you want to send the audio or not with the options "Yes" and "No" and if you select "Yes" then the audio is sent successfully.

This "Status" option is used for managing (ON/OFF) total four types of statuses which are "Status", "Last Seen", "Music sharing" & "Freeze". Status is the option, which if kept ON then your profile status will be visible to all of your contacts who visit your profile and if kept OFF then it will not be visible at all .Last Seen is the option, which if kept ON and if you go offline then your last seen (last time you were seen in the application) will be visible to all of your contacts and if kept OFF and you go offline then no last seen will be visible to your contacts. Music Sharing is the option which if kept ON and you play a song on your phone and a contact/friend of yours visits your profile then on your profile, that song which you are playing will be displayed similarly if kept OFF then it will not be shown to the contact who visits your profile. Freeze is the option, which is dependent upon the Last Seen option like if the last seen is ON only then you can turn on the freeze option otherwise cannot. This is a unique option provided by BirdsBeep by using which you will be seen as offline to other users when they visit your profile or go to your chat screen and your last seen status will be visible to them.

When you remove or delete any contact from your phone's phone book, which happens to be your BirdsBeep contact as well, then automatically that contact will get deleted from your BirdsBeep contact list.

It is a very useful option that can be used if you want to send a similar message to multiple users like sending an invitation or making an announcement amongst your friends. Under the "Profile Settings" section, there is an option for the same named "New Broadcast" through which you can create a broadcast list by adding multiple users to it and eventually sending the message to those users as soon as the broadcast list is created.

On the user chat screen at the top right corner of the screen , there is a menu option tapping on which you get further options of images , videos , location and weather info using which you can share/send them to your contacts.

Promotion page contains the promotional images videos that are uploaded by the business users from the web platform provided by us in order to promote the application and other related advertisements.

This can be done by going to the profile screen , selecting either of the two options and tapping on the provided "Done" button. When you set up your profile as private by selecting the "Private" option and tapping on the "Done" button then you are navigated to the screen where you have the list of your BirdsBeep contacts. From the list, you can choose/ select the contacts who you want to chat or who you want to add to your private list. Contacts which are selected by you will be able to chat with you but the ones which aren't selected by you will be unable to chat with you and will be considered as blocked contacts.

In contrast to this, if you have set your profile as Public then no such restriction will be there and your BirdsBeep contacts will be able to chat and send messages to you without any hindrance.

On the user chat screen at the top right corner of the screen, there is a menu option tapping on which you get the button named "Search" pressing which will enable you to easily search any words which has been used in your chat by a particular user.

You can manage the notifications from the main settings of the BirdsBeep application.

You can change it through "Manage Chat Settings" under the "Settings" section. In this section, you also have the option of changing the font size and type.

Yes you can change the background of the group through "Manage Chat Settings", which is available under the "Settings" section.

You have the option of posting the images in to your album by accessing the "My Album" section and uploading the image by using the available option in the Album section. You can upload images by selecting the available images in your phone and also can take the picture from the camera and upload.

As soon as someone comments on the image of your album, you get a notification. In order to approve the comment on your album's image , you can just enter in to the album , open that particular image by selecting it and then approve the comment given by tapping on the provided option corresponding to that comment . As soon as you approve the comment, that comment will be visible to the other users who visit your album and see the image.

Android 4.0 and advanced versions are compatible with BirdsBeep.

Like the other features in BirdsBeep , using stickers and emoji while chatting is also an easy thing to do . You have the options of stickers and emoji just side by the text box at the user chat screen and you can use them with ease by selecting them and sending to your BirdsBeep contacts. It is a very unique and interesting way to emote your feelings through these stickers and emoji , specially at the moments when you run short of words to project your emotions.

You do not have to add contacts separately to your BirdsBeep account .Contacts which are already added to your mobile's phone-book are found to be registered BirdsBeep users then those contacts will be automatically synchronized or added to your BirdsBeep contact list. This way , you will be able to chat with them via BirdsBeep. Also, if you want to add a registered BirdsBeep user who is not in your mobile's phone-book or your BirdsBeep contact list then first you can add him/her in to your mobile's phone book and then it will get synchronized or added to your BirdsBeep contact automatically.

After you have uninstalled the application from your mobile phone you can do this easily by first downloading the application from the play store and then installing it on to your mobile as any other application.

BirdsBeep Junior has been made in a very simplified way so that you can use this feature with ease. In the left panel of your account, you have this option called "Juniors" from which you can send the parental request to a user by entering his/her phone number and as that user accepts your request then from that point onwards, he/she will be your junior. Now as a parent , you have the authority of approving or rejecting the contacts and groups with which he/she will be involved .Similarly, on that junior's account in the left panel a section called "Parent" will be available , in which the name of the parent is displayed.

There is a separate section for this naming "Juniors" through which you can visit your junior's account in which you will be having the list of users (users whom the junior wants to add to his/her contact list and the users who want to add the junior in their contact list) as well as the groups (groups which are created by the junior and the groups in which the junior is being added by some other users).In this list , you will be having the option of approving/ rejecting the contacts and groups of your junior (Child).

In the Junior details screen on the map where you have made the boundary for the junior/child you can track the current location of your junior/child as the pointer keeps on moving or changing along with the changing location of junior/child . You also get the timely notification in case if your junior/child goes out of the boundary, which was set by you. By the help of this feature , it becomes much more easier for you to track your child's location.

As a parent you have an option of adding the boundary through the "Junior Details" section where you have the subsection called "Add Boundary" in which you can easily draw/set the boundary for the junior on the map provided.

The process will be the same as any other user who will be adding the phone numbers / contacts in their respective phonebooks and if those contacts happen to be BirdsBeep users then those will be automatically synchronized to that user's account as BirdsBeep contacts. The only difference in the junior's case will be, that, after the junior adds the contacts to his/her phone book then those BirdsBeep contacts will be sent to the parent's account for approval. After receiving approval by the parent , the junior will be able to see those contacts in his/ her BirdsBeep contact list and will be able to chat with them as well.

This limitation has been set in order to prevent the junior from coming in contact with any un-wanted users as the public groups can be searched by any user throughout the application.The application helps the user to join that group who can easily contact the junior. Keeping this thing in mind we have allowed the junior to create only private group(as they cannot be searched by other users all over the application) so that the privacy can be maintained.

Yes , you can set up your profile private/public as a junior as well.

It is the similar process as with any other user's account . You can go to the settings section and can close your account as a junior using the available "Close My Account" option.
